I collaborate and consult with you to create a solution that is right for your client or business. I have:

  • an extensive experience in building eLearning courses using Adobe Flash, coding in Actionscript 2/3 and developing client-server applications using PHP and Flash.
  • conceptualized and delivered brands and websites for clients resulting in an increase of 100% – 500% in customer queries
  • directed and supervised a 5+ staff production unit on a functional level. Increased overall client satisfaction in delivery of projects by implementing a development process and associated documentation, and mentoring staff on customer interaction and monitoring of scope.
  • managed projects for local and overseas clients, liasing with production and management teams in Australia, Japan, France, Singapore, and the US
  • a Science degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Massey University in Auckland, New Zealand, and a Certificate in Multimedia. I am formally trained in, and have a good understanding of object-oriented methodologies including analysis, design and development.

I am currently working through a (part-time) Postgraduate Diploma in Business at The University of Auckland Business School – Graduate School of Enterprise, which is “…specifically designed as a gateway to the MBA and Master of Management (MMgt) programmes” and provides a “…solid grounding in general management skills and modern business practice.”

If you are struggling to pronounce my name, here’s a simple guide: think about a more familiar name – Dorian. Replace the “D” with a “G” and you’ve got it e.g. Dorian…Gorian, or Goryan. Simple stuff.

Background

I am a Macedonian that has made Auckland, New Zealand home. I arrived in New Zealand a decade ago (on one of those sky ships), while a goat was being cooked for dinner. If you have seen the movie “Titanic”, it was nothing like it. It was much more like the video below.
